Be a part of our Eco Film Lab and create an environmental film with your class! Registration is open.
The environmental filmmaking workshops for elementary teachers in the Toronto region are back! This FREE series is offered to educators to develop media literacy skills necessary to use filmmaking as a teaching tool.
Register below to be a part of the live filmmaker sessions, and submit your film by the deadline. The top 3 films will screen at the Planet in Focus International Environmental Film Festival in Toronto on October 15-20, 2024.
Teachers and students can submit their completed student-made environmental films (under 4 minutes) for consideration by September 13, 2024.

RESOURCES
This series of workshops is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of filmmaking techniques, tools, and equipment. We’ll explore how to use your smartphone or tablet as a complete system for shooting and editing. The online modules will include educational Q&A sessions with filmmakers, tips and tricks for putting together your project, and various sessions involving different types of filming techniques. Online resources will be available to inspire and instruct how to make a film with your students.
