The Planet in Focus Fonds at York University, established 2014 in honour of the organization’s 15th anniversary, is not only a collection of film and video submissions from years past, but also as a collection of records and files since the organization’s existence.

The Fonds will be made available to students, the academic community and the public for research purposes. A significant collection housed at York University Libraries, it will allow academics to study the development of Planet in Focus, Canada’s Largest Environmental Film Festival, as it responded to the dynamic social, political and economic conditions since 1999.
