Green Screen hosted an inspiring and informative panel discussion at the 2011 Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival Industry Series on October 14, 2011.
The Green Screen Panel tackled the rewards, challenges and opportunities in greening productions of all budget ranges. Filmmakers gathered to discuss greening their upcoming projects at this hour-long session.

The Green Screen Award sponsored by Astral’s Harold Greenberg Fund is presented to a filmmaker or producer who has taken behind-the-scenes action to incorporate environmentally friendly film production practices in their film or television production.
Presented at the Industry Reception on October 14, the winner of the 2011 Green Screen Award was Avi Federgreen for his production Score: A Hockey Musical. Honorable mention was presented to David Chernushenko for Powerful: Energy for Everyone.
