2012 Spotlight: Renewable Energy

Films and videos can include stories and explorations of urban and rural spaces; wildlife; social, cultural and political environments; farming; Aboriginal perspectives; health and environment; climate change; human displacement; war; globalization; water; farming; forests and food security and other interpretations of the theme “environment”. In addition to our regular public screenings, the festival features an Industry Day with panels, workshops and pitch sessions devoted to the subject of film production, distribution and funding, a school program for elementary and secondary school students focused on environmental education and an entertaining and inspiring children and youth program.
