Here at PIF we are proud of our ongoing partnerships with organizations whose work really excites us. We are consistently impressed by the incredible initiatives of our sponsor, Me to We Style. A clothing company that is both environmentally minded AND socially conscious – talk about inspiring! We recently caught up with Founder and CEO, Oliver Madison, who had the following to say about what’s really important to Me to We Style and how they hope to empower all of us to make sound ‘green’ choices:

We first started sponsoring Planet in Focus in 2008 and every year it has been remarkable to watch the event continue to grow. It’s always been an easy choice for us to be involved with the film festival as it  is aligned with our own eco-friendly values. We are thrilled to provide tees for this incredible organization.

Our mission at Me to We Style is to empower consumers and companies to make purchasing decisions that lead to a better, more environmentally friendly lifestyle and have a positive ripple effect on our global community. By manufacturing our apparel in Canadian factories that pay adult workers fair wages in safe work environments, we ensure that workers make enough to care for themselves and their families. By using organic cotton, recycled polyester and bamboo, we dramatically reduce the toxins that enter the earth we share. And, by donating 50% of our annual profits to Free the Children — the world’s largest organization of children helping children through education — we give back to families and children in rural and impoverished areas across the globe, helping to fund schooling and water sanitation projects.
