As avenues for traditional funding decline for Canadian documentarians and other filmmakers, Planet in Focus explores fresh opportunities among NGOs (non-government organizations), digital filmmaking as well the venerable Green Pitch. The Industry Series boasts networking activities, hands-on workshops and educational panels to enlighten emerging and veteran filmmakers alike so they continue to create in all genres, including environmental cinema. Situated in the TIFF Bell Lightbox Green Room, The Green Market allows delegates to comfortably view all of the Festival’s submissions and programmed films.
