The Water Brothers: “Bottlegate”

Is bottled water really cleaner or better for us than regular tap water? Or is it all just a marketing ploy? Through field research and interviews with water experts, Water Brothers Tyler and Alex examine the bottled water phenomenon that has taken the nation by storm.

The Water Brothers: “The Big Thaw”

Although there exists enormous research on the topic of climate change, it continues to be hotly debated. Many scientists agree that glaciers are the most observably affected indicators of this phenomenon. To see for themselves, the Water Brothers join up with the Canadian organization Students on Ice to venture to Greenland, the epicenter of climate change. Through first-hand experience and data collected from the Extreme Ice Survey (founded by 2012 Planet in Focus International Eco Hero James Balog, see p. 23), they observe the tremendous rate at which the glaciers are melting and its incredible effect on ecosystems near and far.
