In May of 2010, Enbridge Inc. submitted an application for the construction of a network of pipelines and super tanker routes that would transport Alberta Tar Sands oil out to British Columbia’s North Coast. In opposition to this proposal, Curtis, Ryan and Faroe set out on a two-month kayak expedition along the coast of British Columbia.

Their journey brings them face to face with the complexity of the environmental assessment process, the difficulties local communities face in having their voices heard and the growing resistance against this controversial pipeline.
